Everyday Beautiful is my recap of the things that brought me joy during the previous week. Better late than never, amIright?
Started the week off on the right foot. You would have done the same thing, right?
Some Yogi tea wisdom while I addressed my Christmas cards. Everlasting impact with compassion and kindness is called love.
The garden is doing its thang! My cilantro is finally coming into shape.
Arugula is coming alive!
Baby Lettuce mix looking so purdy!
Red Russian Kale is just starting to make an appearance.
My front porch plants are feeling mighty festive and thriving!
At work, I keep a bulletin board with little token reminders. This week Chocolate definitely brought joy!
We finally got to take our 10-year old daughter to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra! This was her first concert and one of our absolute favorites to see!

This was a TSO week – my favorites are Christmas Eve and Other Stories and The Christmas Attic.
Recipes I Tried
We made this Ultimate Chili and it was delicious! I’m definitely interested in playing with the recipe to add some of our favorite ingredients.
Made some Garlic Herb Smashed Potatoes to go with a pork tenderloin. Yum!
Looking for a one pot meal that adults and kids can all enjoy? This Chicken and Black Bean Enchilada Skillet is a winner and we are adding it to our regular rotation!
Links I Loved
I know I’m too late for Thanksgiving, but if you find yourself with extra Turkey for Christmas (or any time), here is a wonderful round-up of Leftover Turkey Recipes to keep on hand!
Do you like Overnight Oats? These Chai Spiced Overnight Oats sound lovely!
Do you send holiday cards? I love sending them, but they are definitely not an accurate portrayal of our lives. This article made me laugh and also shout from the roof tops, “I’m not alone!!!!!!!” Holiday cards only tell half the story, but I still send them anyway.
A couple of inspiring Instagram posts I loved: this and this
