Everyday Beautiful is my recap of the things that brought me joy during the previous week.
Hello Moon.
This pie and I had many dates over coffee this weekend. Two of my 34 Things That Make Me Happy
Herbs from my garden getting ready for stuffing.
I’m not sure how to achieve that perfect golden turkey, but she sure tasted amazing!
I’ve been stashing vegetable scraps in my freezer for stock. Bell pepper tops, onion and garlic ends, carrot tops and peels, celery butts, limp vegetables and herbs. So while we set up our Christmas decorations, I made delicious, homemade, zero-waste (FREE!) turkey stock for the freezer. I started saving scraps toward the end of summer. Now I’m going to do this all year and see how many times a year I can make chicken or veggie broth.
So excited for the Christmas lights!!!
Hello, twinkle lights and sparkly ornaments! 😍🤩

All. The. Christmas!
I listen to Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Pentatonix, and Michael Buble the most.
But I also love this classic, this new one, this fun one, and my most favorite!
Recipes I tried
I made this Honey Sriracha Ground Chicken and Broccoli and it was delicious and so easy – definitely going to add it to the rotation!
Our stuffing got a remake this year, and boy am I glad. This Classic Traditional Thanksgiving Stuffing was the best I’ve ever had! The herbs (parsley, thyme, sage, and rosemary) can all come straight from your garden and into a buttery, bready deliciousness! I can’t wait to make it again!
My biggest fear when entertaining is not having enough food (this happened once!) so in addition to our turkey, I also made this Crockpot Spiral Ham recipe – it was so simple and the ham turned out perfectly.

Where did you find joy this week?

So festive and beautiful! I love it! And yay for zero waste stock. Can’t wait to see how that practice works for you.
I found joy in beginning to decorate and also getting some extra rest over the long weekend. Mr. O loves his Christmas lights! It’s fun to embrace the holidays in simple ways.
