Everyday Beautiful is my recap of the things that brought me joy during the previous week.
I’ve noticed that my I’m not taking as many photos each week as when I first started. I’m going to try harder to capture something everyday this next week.
The carrots have finally sprouted. I had intended to plant two rows of seeds each week so we’d have a nice succession, but I have still only planted the two rows. Whoops!
My eldest made dinner again this week from her October Raddish Kids – Ghoulish Goulash. Both kids loved it, so we’ll keep it in the winter rotation. (Use referral code PYX5TZ for $20 off a new subscription)
A couple weeks ago, I placed 1-inch of a green onion root in a small amount of water in my window-sill. It’s re-growing beautifully!
We are thankful for all the tomatoes our Early Girl has provided us with this year, but it was time to say goodbye. Garden real estate is valuable around here, and while she was full of green, her tomato production has really wound down.
Spooked up the Book Barn for my neighborhood readers.
A rainbow of pizza toppings for Build-Your-Own Pizza night, using tomatoes and jalapenos from our garden!
Mine was delicious! Fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, chicken, artichoke hearts, sweet peppers, green onions and gorgonzola. Mmmmmmmm.

I started and stopped two or three books this week that just didn’t grab me like I had hoped. I’m planning to start Big Lies in a Small Town for book club next!

I have a stack of fruit and vegetable themed fabric, and now I have inspiration! Reusable produce bags!
Halloween is upon us, so we might as well just pop the bubbly and call it a year. With the supply chain problems and Covid still among us, I’m not in any hurry to jump back in to the holidays. I’m definitely craving a slow quiet holiday season!
Words to Live By
The best business ideas have yet to be tried. The best books have yet to be written. The best relationships have yet to be formed. It’s not too late. The space of possibilities is endless. The most interesting terrain remains unexplored.

Where did you find joy this week?

Love the garden updates. That’s so cool your oldest is cooking dinner once a week! Can’t wait to see the produce bags too. That’s really fun!

Thank you! Hopefully I can make them happen soon! 🙂
